The Ripple Effect of Thrive!

Two months ago, I shared the exciting news that Thrive: From the Inside Out was available for pre-order. Today, I want to share something even more meaningful — the stories that have begun to emerge from those who've read it.

Last Sunday at church, Phil stopped me with a gleam in his eye. "I just finished Thrive," he said. "Man, I couldn't put it down."

What happened next caught me by surprise. As we chatted, Phil mentioned he was sending copies to two people in his life. "They need this message," he said simply.

That moment crystallized something I've been feeling since the book's release: Thrive isn't just my story anymore. It's becoming a vehicle for hope—passed hand to hand, heart to heart—creating ripples I never could have imagined when I first started writing from that prison camp in Pollock.

The Message That Multiplies

Hope is contagious. Stories of transformation even more so.

When we encounter something that shifts our perspective or reminds us of God's faithfulness in dark places, our natural response is to share it.

Thrive was born from the conviction that our deepest valleys can become the foundation for our greatest purpose—if we're willing to recycle our pain. That message resonates not because it's extraordinary, but because it's real. We all face seasons where survival feels like the best we can hope for — until we discover there's something beyond surviving.

Who Do You Know?

As I reflect on Phil's decision to share the book, I'm curious: Who do you know that needs this message right now?

  • Someone navigating an unexpected detour in life?

  • A family impacted by incarceration?

  • A church leader seeking to understand how to serve the temporary widows and orphans in your community?

  • Someone questioning whether God can truly work through their most painful chapters?

Every copy of Thrive that finds its way into the right hands helps fuel Qavah's mission to inspire, equip, and mobilize churches to care for families affected by incarceration. Your recommendation matters more than you might realize.

A Thank You That Can't Be Expressed

Sitting at my bunk at that federal prison camp in Pollock, I wrote posts in my journal, never intending to share them with anyone. When I later sent handwritten blog posts to my wife, Pam, I was writing for family and friends to read. In neither case did I ever expect these reflections would someday become a book reaching people I've never met. And yet, here we are!

Your willingness to share this journey with others is humbling beyond words. Together, we're creating a movement that begins with inspiration and ends with transformation — not just for individuals, but for communities and churches ready to embrace those society often forgets.

Who will you share Thrive with today?

Grace and peace,
Delton
